Students of the Surveying and Cadastre Program and the Logistics and Transportation Services Program at Bigadiç Vocational School Successfully Completed Their Workplace Vocational Training

Students of the Surveying and Cadastre Program and the Logistics and Transportation Services Program at Balıkesir University Bigadiç Vocational School successfully completed the practical phase of their education under the Workplace Vocational Training (3+1) Model.

Through their practical training at public institutions and private sector organizations, students of the Surveying and Cadastre Program gained hands-on experience in professional activities such as land surveying, map production, geographic information systems (GIS), and cadastral applications. Meanwhile, students of the Logistics and Transportation Services Program enhanced their professional knowledge and practical skills by actively participating in supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, and operational processes at logistics companies, warehousing centers, and organizations operating in the transportation sector.

The Workplace Vocational Training (3+1) Model enabled students not only to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical experience but also to develop essential professional competencies, including work discipline, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional communication skills. The experience they gained before graduation significantly enhanced their employability and made an important contribution to preparing them as competent professionals ready to meet the demands of the workforce.
