Vocational Education Coordination Board (MEM) Meeting at Balıkesir University Business was held online on 24 September 2026. Meeting, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl.; Vocational School Managers, Technokent General Manager Öğr. See. Burcu Aydemir was held with the participation of Career Development, Application and Research Center representative and board members.
Associate Professor of Vocational Education Coordinator in Business. During the meeting carried out by Dr. Pelin Palas Karaca, there were opinions and recommendations of the committee members to conduct the process more effective, qualified and sustainablely.
The meeting was also shared with student and employer feedback on 2025–2026 education-education. In student assessments, the satisfaction of the Occupational Education application is generally high; the teamwork of students in employer assessments, business ethics, professional qualification and employmentability were highlighted.
In comparisons with previous results, both students and employers were positive improvements in comparable indicators. The areas to be developed in accordance with the received feedback were evaluated and the work that can be made to increase the nature of the Occupational Education application in the Business.
In the meeting, the strengthening of communication and coordination between student-business–university, regular monitoring of application processes, reflecting sector feedback into educational processes and maintaining continuous improvement approach.
The meeting ended after the evaluation, opinions and recommendations of the committee members.
