Balıkesir University İvrindi Vocational School of Health Services and the Balıkesir Provincial Health Directorate have signed a cooperation protocol to enable students enrolled in the First and Emergency Aid Program to undertake workplace-based vocational training under the 3+1 Workplace Vocational Education Model.
Under the protocol, students of the First and Emergency Aid Program will complete the practical component of their education at 112 Emergency Health Services Stations, hospitals affiliated with the Balıkesir Provincial Health Directorate, and other approved healthcare institutions. This will provide them with the opportunity to enhance their professional knowledge and practical skills in real clinical and emergency care settings.
Through this collaboration, students are expected to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through hands-on practice while gaining valuable experience in teamwork, emergency patient management, and the delivery of healthcare services. Furthermore, the protocol will strengthen cooperation between the University and the healthcare sector, contributing to the education and training of highly qualified healthcare professionals.
